A series of 3 two hour workshops providing an Introduction to Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL). This course is suitable for; practicing coaches, therapists, counsellors, educators, or youth workers who want to learn how to safely and effectively develop social and emotional competencies through non-riding activities with horses. EFL is an especially useful addition to income generating activities at any RDA or BHS centre wishing to add non riding activities supporting wellbeing to their range of services. The cost is £125 and participants will receive an Equi-Scotia CIC certificate of attendance. This short course is endorsed by ACCPH and counts as 3 CPD points for BHS Accredited Professional Coaches.

For those wishing to become fully trained EFL practitioners, able to deliver a wider range of developmental activities, there is an opportunity to progress from the Intro course to apply to study towards our ACCPH accredited Certificate in Equine Facilitated Learning (a menu of micro online learning modules and 1 day of practical training) or the Professional Diploma in Equine Facilitated Learning & Development (29 points at SCQF level 8) quality assured by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
