Intro to Equine Facilitated Learning

A series of 3 two hour workshops (6pm - 8pm) providing an Introduction to Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL). and Therapy (EFT). 

Jam packed full of learning, this short course is suitable for anyone who wants to understand why simplying being around horses is good for humans.  It's also the foundation course required for anyone wishing to train with Equi-Scotia to become an Equine Facilitated Learning or Therapy practitioner.  

The Equi-Scotia approach is suitable for profesionals from a wide range of disciplines (e.g. education, equestrian, coaching, occupational therapy, counselling, psychotherapy etc) wishing to support clients to safely and effectively develop social and emotional competencies through non-riding activities with horses.

EFL/T is an especially useful addition to income generating activities at any equestrian centre centre wishing to add non riding activities supporting wellbeing to their range of services.  

This short course is endorsed by ACCPH and counts as 3 CPD points for British Horse Society (BHS) Accredited Professional Coaches.

Course fees

The cost is £125 and participants will receive an Equi-Scotia CIC certificate of attendance.
